Following the statement by the education minister, Adamu Adamu at the end of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided by President Muhammadu Buhari, that  Nigerian schools will not reopen any time soon until it is safe to do so because of the COVID-19 pandemic, reactions began to flow from parents and educators. The meaning of 'non-resumption'  has taken another tune for the stakeholders!

This case has become 'Parents versus Educators? Some parents are finding the time relief from paying school fees while the educators, on the other hand, are seeing themselves being robbed by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially those in private schools.

What about the academic delay by, probably a year for the students/pupils? With them at the centre of it all, what do you think? Is the pandemic a blessing in disguise or a failure?
