Hospital Rejects Patients! #Covid-19

Mowe residents, in the face of Covid -19

It is saddening that hospitals that are meant to be a haven and places of respite for the sick are turning to rejection centres!

A renown private hospital in Mowe, Ogun state is a close case study. ( name of the hospital, withheld) The hospital is known for its professional expertise when it comes to maternity issues and general health care.

Patients have been facing rejection in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak. Many of them received text messages not to bother coming to the hospital, should they be sick this Covid-19 period. Rather, the hospital is consulting via phone and online basis.
Recommended medications are to be collected by patients at a designated entrance of the facility.

It is evident that the doctor is practising medical distancing from her patients for a novel disease that doesn't seem to have a cure for now. Is the doctor strategising to save the lives of his staff and self?

The Holy book says 'if you lose your life for Christ, you have saved it'.That is denying ourselves of worldly goodies gives us assurance of a great life after. This quote may not apply to this situation as the hospital team seek to save their lives first! The contrary! Wisdom for them?

When did the government include hospitals to the institutions to be temporarily closed down like religious houses, schools, cinemas, pubs, and so on?

Is this medical distancing fair, for a doctor whose course it is to save lives?
